I can finally, erm, save lives?

So after much foot-dragging from my course coordinator and instructors, they finally cleared me and my classmates to sit for the EMT state exam! And after taking the exam Tuesday, I’m really surprised how simple the exam seemed.. Like, at least ask something somewhat tricky; not just ABC’s, and giving oxygen. You hear from some that BLS is just that— lifting, giving 02, and transport. But I hope I get the chance to make some differences, andsave liveshelp prevent the inevitable.

Please watch this, spread it to everyone you can. This is taking place in a well-off district by me, usually considered one of the better areas for education…. It makes me sick. sunfoundation: Conducting Demystified The New York Times, in collaboration with the New York University Movement Lab, explains music conducting in this beautifully produced video. It’s part interview with Alan Gilbert, music director of the New York Philharmonic, and part rendering of motion capture data, which represents Gilbert’s conducting. To capture the data, the Movement Lab installed high-speed motion capture cameras, and Gilbert put on one of those funny-looking suits with the sensor balls on them. He conducted, and they recorded his body and his hands. Science and Music, the two things that make my life worth it. :)
